Breathing air systems are used to provide Grade-D breathing air to workers through the use of Self Contained Breathing Apparatus's (SCBA's), air lines connected to a breathing air compressors or a cascade bottle system, or emergency escape hoods/packs. In the performance of this work ventilation equipment is often necesassary to provide fresh air for a confined space or work area.
